About
My name is Blaz B.
I began dancing tango in October 2013 at a tango nuevo school in Ljubljana, Slovenia. But I don't take my beginnings seriously - I only attended classes once a week, never went to a milonga in 7 months. Then my dance partner left me and the school fell apart. I was a tango orphan for the next 8 months. I began dancing Argentinian tango in February 2015. Quite soon after the beginner's course I recognized there are certain observations I would like to share - mostly with tango leaders beginners. Dear first timers, this blog is for you. And as you develop as a dancer, so will I, hopefully, providing you with stories that will instill courage when you need it most, beauty you felt, but couldn't articulate, and some laughs, too. Tango stories are a mix of personal experiences, introspection and tango theory. |
I hope we meet on the dancefloor. Knowing you had struggled, but kept on dancing, will make my day.
Yours,
Blaz
